Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy threatened sanctions on Israel on Tuesday, accusing it of turning a blind eye to the import of grain he says has been “stolen” from his country by Russia.

Ukraine accused Israel on Tuesday of allowing the import of grain it says Russia stole from occupied territories, prompting a sharp exchange between officials in Kyiv and Jerusalem.

Ukraine has summoned the Israeli Ambassador, Michael Brodsky, to urge action over a ship that seeks to unload stolen Ukrainian grain at the Haifa Port, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said on April 27.
